Proboard Versa meets code requirements for Continuous Insulation and can be used in a variety of applications in new construction and remodeling – in both residential and light commercial projects.

 

Moisture Management

Moisture Management Moisture is the enemy in construction causing damage to materials or even leading to hazardous living conditions for the occupants. Proboard Versa and Versa VP GPS provide protection for any installation.

Proboard Versa is an approved Insulated Weather Resistive Barrier (WRB). Weather Resistive Barriers prevent water from penetrating the wall system,ensuring the wall assembly remains dry. No additional house wrap is needed.

Proboard Versa VP (vapor permeable) provides Class III semi-permeable vapor performance making it 3x more breathable than comparable products. It further provides ultra-low moisture absorption with fast-drying characteristics even in wet conditions.

Proven Energy Efficiency

Proboard Core provides R-5 per nominal inch.

Holds its R-Value: After extreme environmental testing, Proboard Core held its R-value in conditions that involved both constant thermal gradient and cycling between large temperature and humidity variations.
