GlideLock Siding Hanger Installation System
Prevents Vinyl Siding from Buckling & Warping
Vinyl siding may be easier to install than other products, but it still requires installers to follow stringent steps to guarantee a beautiful finished appearance.
One panel of vinyl siding can routinely expand and contract a 1/2" or more during normal, year-round changes in temperature. Even one nail driven too loose or too tight can cause the siding to buckle of warp, creating an imperfect appearance.
In fact, installers are required to only allow approximately 1/32" clearance (the thickness of a dime) between the fastener head and the vinyl.* An average siding job requires about 2,000 nails, creating many opportunities for error, even for the best installation experts.
Patent-pending GlideLock hangers:
- Allow siding to expand and contract freely, gliding like a train on a track
- Eliminate the margin of error, creating a perfect installation every time
- Prevent siding from warping or buckling due to imperfect installation
- Warranted against siding blow offs in up to Category 5 hurricane winds
- Install faster and quieter than traditional nails
- Provide more attachment points than traditional nails
- Lifetime warranty against warping, buckling, or blow off
- Made in the USA and ASTM tested
GlideLock Creates Over 6x More Attachment Points Than Standard Nails!
Glide Lock Hangers can be installed every 24" when attaching to a nailable surface such as OSB. Otherwise, 16" on center application is required.
